Today, Bill Gates was at our Redmond campus. He gave a inspiring presentation about the history of Microsoft how it started and what Paul Allen, Steve Ballmer roles were before success happened — as part of his new book called “source code”. His key takeaway was that we’re at a pivotal moment of change with AI. The time to be at Microsoft now feels the same as 50 years ago to him! So much of how Windows started is now moving to the Cloud & AI! I was able to hand over a Mastering Windows 365 copy (aka.ms/MasteringW365) to his assistant on his way back.

1moI remember watching a documentary about how they were working with Audio to Text, etc, as well, and that was part of the early vision, I remember wondering what Bill would have thought about some of the recent advancements in this space! Going to check out the Source Code book! Cheers! I'm hoping Satya will do a 'Hit Refresh V2' soon!
